The larger FORIS bowl, from KINTO’s enamelled range. Enamel over a stainless steel core: the steel keeps it thin and light, the glass-hard enamel surface takes heat, resists odours and wipes clean.
Fire, oven and dishwasher
It goes over a direct flame. Slot the separately sold handle into the rim and it becomes a small cooking pot, which is why this range gets bought for camping as often as for the kitchen. Take the handle off before it goes over heat. Oven and dishwasher safe.
Details that show up in use
The rim is finished thin rather than rolled. A rolled edge traps water and takes an age to dry; this one drains and can be hung from its slit. The bowls stack, though not when wet — they can stick. The 195mm plate doubles as a lid for this bowl, which is useful outdoors for keeping ash out and at home for putting leftovers straight in the fridge.
