Description
An enamelled mug at 360 ml, from the same range as the FORIS bowls and plates. Enamel over a stainless steel core, which is why it weighs about 160 g rather than the heft you expect from traditional enamelware.
The rim
Finished thin rather than rolled over. A thick rolled rim is what makes cheap enamel mugs unpleasant to drink from, and it holds water after washing. This one drinks cleanly and dries properly.
Where it works
It takes direct heat, so it can go on a camping stove, and it is oven and dishwasher safe. It does not hold odours, which matters for a mug that will see coffee one day and soup the next. The matte colours are the same across the FORIS range, so it sits with the bowls and plates.
