Description
The best-balanced chair in the range, and the one to buy if you do not want to choose between range and weight. Around 40 km per charge, 17.7 kg on the scales, and a 159 kg user rating — no other chair here does all three.
Frame and capacity
Aerospace-grade aluminium. It is what allows a 159 kg load rating at 17.7 kg of chair, and it is most of the reason this model costs more than the alloy chairs below it. It folds in seconds.
Battery
A 15Ah removable lithium pack, recharging in about three to four hours, giving an estimated 40 km. Removable means it charges indoors while the chair stays in the car.
Where it goes
Rated for pavement, grass, gravel paths and outdoor walkways, on gradients to 12°. That gradient figure is what separates it from the lighter indoor-biased chairs — it will take a steep access ramp or a sloping path without labouring.
Controls and comfort
A 360° joystick with five speed settings and electromagnetic braking that stops the chair as soon as the joystick is released. Top speed is about 8 km/h. The seat cushion is wide and the backrest breathable; armrests flip up and footrests fold, both of which make a side transfer easier.
